Four Breeders' Cup pre-entrants were among the graded stakes winners to work on Thursday. Filly & Mare Sprint contender Serengeti Empress put forth a solid four-furlong spin at Churchill Downs, while Sprint hopeful Firenze Fire and Juvenile Turf contender Mutasaabeq each worked four furlongs at Belmont Park. And Mile hopeful March to the Arch had a swift four-furlong drill at Woodbine.

Firenze Fire (Poseidon's Warrior) a Grade 1 winner (2017 Champagne) worked 4 furlongs in 48.0 at Belmont Park on Thursday morning. It was the fastest of 20 works at the distance. His previous work was 6 days ago going 5 furlongs at Belmont Park. In his last start he won the Vosburgh (G2) going 6 furlongs on the main track at Belmont Park on Sept. 26 for trainer Kelly Breen.

His previous work was 7 days ago going 4 furlongs at Belmont Park. In his last start he won the Bourbon (G2) going 1 1/16 miles on the turf at Keeneland on Oct. 4 for trainer Todd Pletcher.

Serengeti Empress (Alternation) a two time Grade 1 winner (2020 Ballerina 2019 Kentucky Oaks) worked 4 furlongs in 48.6 at Churchill Downs on Thursday morning.
